On Nov 2, 2011, around 8:30a.m., the CROSS Corsen was alerted that a crew member on board the "CMA CGM Jade" had a suspected appendicitis. The ship was then 50 nautical miles off the island of Batz. CROSS Corsen immediately dispatch a Dauphin helicopter of the Navy, on board a medical officer. The Burmese man was airlifted and transported to the hospital of the Cavale blanche.
