Freighter runs aground entering Kaliningrad port
m/v Navin Kestrel ran aground on a northern border of an entrance channel, Kaliningrad port, at 0510 LT July 15 2011, Maritime Bulletin ODIN TC reports. Vessel disabled after blackout. At 0712 LT vessel was refloated with the assistance of tug “Pioner”, and towed to anchorage. Vessel slightly damaged in fore part.
