Navigator-Jorf

The 'Navigator Jorf' dropped anchor in the Gulf of Mexico off Houston in pos. 25° 14' N 087° 55' W on Sep 22, 2025, with the navigational status "Not under command". The ship was coming from Jorf Lasfar and was destined to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It remained stationary as of Sep 25.

Salvamento Marítimo has rescued two young Moroccan immigrants northeast of Ceuta who were trying to reach the coast of Cádiz in the afternoon of June 28, 2021. The "Navigator Jorf" located the two in their small boat and requested assistance. The MRCC Tarifa (Cádiz) asked the ship to remain alongside until the SAR boat 'Salvamar Atria', based in Ceuta, arrived. The two young Moroccans were rescued and transferred to the Spanish dock in Ceuta in an apparent good state of health.

The ABS-classed Navigator Jorf was recently delivered to Navigator Gas by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) of South Korea. The Navigator Jorf, a 38,000 cbm fully refrigerated LPG carrier, represents an important addition to the Navigator Gas fleet. The vessel is intended to carry ammonia and trade in North West Europe and between the Mediterranean and Morocco.
