Properties stolen at Lotus Port
The third officer on rounds saw an unauthorised person on deck of the "Molengracht" throwing items over the ship's side while it was in pos. 10 44 N, 106 44 E, at Lotus Port, Ho Chi Minh, on July 25, 2019. On checking, the duty officer noticed two boats collecting the items. An alarm was raised and after seeing the approaching officer, the unauthorised person escaped. Upon checking it was found that the padlock of the forward store was broken, and the ship's properties had been stolen. The local authorities were notified about the incident. The ship remained stationary in Lotus Port as of July 30.
