Captain medevaced off Goa
In the morning of June 6, 2021, the 'Elim' had to interrupt the voyage from Kandla to Singapore and diverted to Goa, requesting immediate medical assistance for the 50-year old Korean Captain. He was suffering from severe lethargy, left hand paralysis and low blood pressure. The patient was medevaced by a helicopter of the Indian Coastguard and transferred to the Vasco hospital in Goa in stable condition.
