Tug for tanker salvage suffered breakdown
The 'Vehintiocho', which was chartererd by SMIT Salvage for the refloating of the grounded tanker 'Blue Star' near El Ferrol, suffered a breakdown on Nov 28, 2019, about 5:00 a.m. and got assistance of another tug, the 'María Pita' of Salvamento Marítimo, to the outer port of Ferrol in Caneliñas. She which had been at the accident site for less than 24 hours, after arriving from the Cantabrian capital on Nov 27.
