Captain of tanker arrested
The 60-year-old captain of the 'Red Garnet' who was arrested over the weekend for illegal entry in the republic last year, will be remanded on Aug 3, 2021. He was arrested early on Aug 1 at the electricity authority Vasilikos terminal after police inspections revealed that the ship had sailed on Oct 14 and Dec 12, 2020, at the closed Boyazi port in the non-government-controlled areas.
