Multi purpose carried disabled off Borkum
Enroute from Emden, where she had sailed on Oct 23, 2018, at 3.40 p.m., to Eemshaven, ETA OCt 26, the "Arctic Rock" needed assistance on Oct 24. The ship had anchored and waited for the storm on the Northsea to abate between Delfzijl and Eemshaven. When trying to leave the Ems in the morning hours of Oct 24, the ship was disabled and adrift since 6.30 a.m. NW of Borkum island. The tugs "Gruno V" and "Gruno 4" were tasked to pull the ship to Eemshaven. By midday, all three ships were in pos. 53° 28.85' N 006° 48.83' E. At 1.50 p.m., the "Arctic Rock" was berthed in Eemshaven.
