Trawler allided with truck
The 'Rasmus Effersoe' was in allision with a truck at Storni Pier facilities that was stopped on the port terminal's viaduct on the night of Jan 22, 2026. The freezer trawler was maneuvering towards the fishing pier area. For reasons which were under investigation, the vessel hit the cab of the cargo truck. Despite the size of the vessel, the impact was minor. The truck sustained some damage to its cab, while the hull of the fishing vessel showed nostructural damage. No injuries were reported.
