Ferry assisted in rescue of seven castaways
On June 9, 2023, the 'Ramón Llull' reported a motor boat on fire to the MRCC of Salvamento Marítimo Valencia. The seven people on board went into a raft 30 nautical miles from Denia. The SAR heliopter Helimer 206 and the patrol boat 'Río Oja' of the Guardia Civil were sent to the rescue of the castaways. All those rescued did not require immediate medical assistance.
