Minerva-Joanna

The "Minerva Joanna" suffered an auxiliary boiler malfunction near Kalamata on March 21, 2018, with two leaking tubes, without affecting the safety or operational aspects of the boiler in pos. 37 00 N 22 05 E, and proceeded into the port of Kalamat. The auxiliary boiler malfunction was reported to the Port Authority of Kalamata by the Master. The crew was carrying out permanent repairs by an authorized workshop and under the supervision of the vessels Class (DNVGL). A restriction of navigation has been issued by the port authority, until the submission of a statement by the R.O. declares the rectification of the malfunction. At no time was she involved in an incident/casualty or subject to a Port State Control detention in Kalamata. She sailed again on March 26 and dropped anchor off Marmara on March 28.
