Dredger caused oil pollution
The "Mimar Sinan" which was working on the expansion site of the port of Monte Carlo encountered a technical problem on March 26, 2018, which resulted in a loss of hydrocarbons in the area of the Cove of the Portier. The company Jan De Nul deployed absorbent pads and was waiting for additional resources that should allow to quickly remove the oil on the surface.
