Engine trouble on Paraná
On May 1, 2019, the "Kurt Paul" encountered engine trouble on the Paraná river at the height of Escobar and had to anchor due to problems with the cooling system of the main engine. The ship had sailed from the port of Campana on April 29 and was bound to Comodoro Rivadavia, ETA May 3, being loaded with 7.915 tons of tubes.
