Allision in Taichung
The “Kuo Chang” was struck by the container ship “He Bin” at Taichung on March 9, 2018, around noon, while the latter was maneuvering in port and got caught by strong wind gusts. She was drifted against the port side of the "Kuo Chang" which suffered several damaged containers, three cargo bays and a ladder. The "He Bin" was damaged at its port side stern. The "Kuo Chang" left port on March 11 at 5 a.m. and headed to Kaoshiung, where she berthed at the APL Container Terminal at 2.20 p.m.
