Disabled cargo ship towed to Tuzla for repairs
The "Ada Zeynep", which had suffered engine failure at Tuapse, on Dec 28, 2017, en route from Tuapse to Tuzla, was taken in tow by the tug "Marintug I" from the incident scene to the Tuzla shipyard area, on Jan 15, 2018, upon completion towage approval formalities. During the Istanbul strait passage, a Coastal Safety tug provided escort service for the vessel and strait traffic safety. The ship arrived at Tuzla at 1.18 p.m. on Jan 21 and sailed again on March 2, bound to Kerch.
