Grounding off Hazira
The "APL Charleston" ran aground on March 26, 2018, around 11 a.m. shortly after leaving the port of Hazira, Surat, in West India. The ship was refloated about 2,5 hours later with tugs assistance and moored at Hazira Anchorage, where she actually still was remaining in pos. N 21° 1.66' E 072° 35.40' for inspections. The vessel was bound for Mundra. It sailed from Magdalla Anchorage on March 28.
