Tanker finded for violating navigation rules
The "Marvea" was fined for violating Georgian navigation rules, when the vessel called at a Georgian port. The tanker was permitted to sail from the port following the payment of 50,000 Georgian Lari (US$18,000). The tanker had arrived at Poti Anchorage on May 13, 2019, at 1.20 p.m. and was anchored in position 42 11 28 N, 41 36 02 E. On May 14, at 5.15 a.m. the "Marvea" arrived at Kulevi and was moored in position 42 16 29N, 41 38 13E.
