Two crew members died in accident, two injured
The "Ap Dubrava" had to interrupt her voyage from San Martin to Las Palma after a tragic accident on board on July 17, 2019. During wielding works, four crew members, including three Croatians and one Ukrainian, were injured, two of them later died. The ship contacted the Brazilian authorities and headed for the nearest Brazilian port. The Brazilian Navy reached the bulk carrier in the morning of July 18 and medevaced two injured seamen. The vessel meanwhile was approaching the port of Vitoria to disembark the bodies of the deceased and undergo investigation and all required procedures.
