False report of Houthis on attack
The Houthi terrorists announced that they fired several cruise missiles aimed at the 'Anvil Point' in the Indian Ocean, something later refuted by the operators of the ship. Despite the Houthi claims, it has been reported that the 'Anvil Point' was seen docked in Duqm, Oman, as of July 1, 2024, provnig the Houthi statements regarding the timing and location of their attacks as false.
Medevac off Kochi
On May 15, 2024, the Indian Coast Guard medevaced a 62-year-old critically ill crew member from the 'Anvil Point', en route from Dubai to Muara, off Kochi. Following the rescue operation, the patient was shifted to Renai Hospital in Ernakulam. The Coast Guard deployed the patrol ship 'C-410' for the operation. On Oct 4, 2021, the 'Anvil Point' requested the medical evacuation of a crew member about 75 nautical miles northwest of A Coruña on Oct 5, 2021. The CCS Finisterre mobilized the Helimer 401 helicopter,, which hoisted the patient and transported him to the A Coruña airport, where an ambulance was waiting for the further transport to hospital.
