Detention at Hodeidah by Houthi militia
Houthi militia have detained the United Nations (UN) chartered 'Antarctic Dream' at the port of Hodeidah on March 24, 2020. The vessel with the UN Hodeidah mission embarked was denied departure by Houthis from Hodeidah to the port of Mokha, Yemen. This was the second time the Houthis have hindered ceasefire work of the UN Hodeidah mission by denying the departure of the UN vessel. The vessel was scheduled to leave Hodeidah port at 6 a.m.on March 24 to carry government army officers to the port of Mokha. The UN Hodeidah Mission leased the 'Antarctic Dream' in 2019 to hold meetings of the UN Redeployment Coordination Committee in a neutral site, normally at the Hodeidah anchorage.
