Medevac in Cuxhaven
On Oct 20, 2021, a crew member of the "Kaishuu" was seriosly injured in an accident and berthed at the Sea Bath Bridge in Cuxhaven festmachen for a medevac after the master decided that it would be too risky to take him off on the Elbe due to stormy weather. The fire brigade Cuxhaven was alerted and assisted with a ladder to get the victim ashore for further transport to hospital.
