The "Longvann" was detained on Nov 2, 2025, in Riga with 13 deficiencies, three of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Certificate & Doc - Civil liability for Bunker Oil pollution damage certificate Missing 2) Life saving Appliances - Inflatable liferafts Expired 3) Life saving Appliances - Stowage and provision of liferafts HRU Expired The vessel was released again on Nov 4 and left the port en route to Ringaskiddy with an ETA as of Nov 11. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063576908591
Breaking wire injured crewman
A crew member of the "Abis Cuxhaven" was severely injured on Apr 19, 2015, around 1.30 a.m. when the ship berthed in the Great Southern Lock of the Kiel Canal in Brunsbüttel enroute from Stralsund to Immingham. A mooring wire got entangled and finally broke, hitting the 44-year old Philippino at the head. He suffered severe face injuries. After receiving first aid by an emergency medical he was taken to the University Hospital in Hamburg. The ship continued the westbound voyage around 3 a.m. The police launched an investigation.
