Freighter Micronesian Pride rescued 49 survivors of Solomon Islands trader Solfish 001

Plane spotted first, debris, and some time later, rafts, then nearest vessel was directed to the rescue. In the late hours of May 26 freighter Micronesian Pride picked from rafts all 49 passengers and crew, after nearly 4 days ordeal in high seas.
