Sole survicor of sunken bulkcarrier reached Singapore aboard the London Courage

The "London Courage", on board the only survivor of the "Vinalines Queen", Dau Ngoc Hung, berthed in Singapore on Jan 4, 2012. It had found the man on its way from Itaqui after an ordeal of five days in the sea. From Singapore, the man travelled forth to Hanoi where he arrived aboard a flight of Vietnam Airlines at 8.30 p.m. He had been supported by the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore. The same afternoon, the National Committee for Search and Rescue of Vietnam had a meeting with the concerned ministries and branches regarding the search for the still missing crew members of the bulkcarrier which sank on December 25. It was decided to widen the search area to the island of Hainan and the Japanese coast.
