On June 15, 2010, at 12.55 a.m. the general cargo m/v “Merry Ocean” while moving around after raising anchor at Dangjin road, South Korea, struck the “Yuriy Arshenevskiy” at its port bow with the starboard superstructure wing. The “Yuriy Arshenevskiy”’s bow got 3 dents of 1x1 meter, however its seaworthiness wasn’t affected. The “Merry Ocean” got a damaged wing, railings and starboard side.
