The "Svelviksund" suffered engine trouble in the morning Oct 29, 2010, on the Svelvik - Verket in the Drammen fjord in Hurum and got caught in strong currents, until the crew was able to restart the engine. An engineer was called to survey the damage, while the ferry was taken out of service. The operatpr Bilferjen Drøbak-Hurum-Svelvik AS expected that the ferry would be back in service during the foremidday hours.
