Allision in Perama
In the afternoon of Feb 14, 2020, the St. Vincent-Grenadines flagged passenger m/v 'Theologos Eleni' allided with the 'Magna Grecia' while approaching the quay of the naval yard in Perama's naval yard. Immediately, officials of the Piraues Port Authority went to the site and found that the passenger m/v had been securely berthed at an adjacent yard. No casualties and no marine pollution were reported. Both ships were slightly damaged in the foreship region. The port authority, which was conducting the preliminary investigation, was detained the two vessels until the submission of class certificates by the class surveyors.
