Hulin

The "Hulin" was detained in Beirut at the request of the Interpol Headquarter in France, which was investigating a probable involvement of the tanker in calling at a sanctioned terminal in Libya in 2016. The vessel was allowed to depart Beirut on Sep 25, 2019 and berthed in Huelva on Oct 4.

The "Hulin" was detained by Lebanese Authorities, on Sep 2, 2019, at the Beirut anchorage, at request of Libyan Authorities on activities related to previous operations in Libya in 2016. By Sep 17, the ship remained moored in pos. 33° 54.91' N 035° 31.17' E.

August 31 2010 about 19:55 tanker turned hard to port and ran hard aground on Horseback Shoal on the south side of the shipping channel near light D55, 1.3 nautical miles NE of Hamilton Island at the West end of Lake St Francis. Apparently some sort of emergency occurred in the engine room. She is completely out of the channel and stopped in 5 to 6 metres depth of water. September 1 morning the Hulin was stopped at the lower approach wall below Snell Lock for inspection. She reported to Eisenhower lock shortly after running out of the channel that she was hard aground. However, she managed to work herself free.
