Grounding off Gaziköy
The 'Angy R', enroute from Constanta to Bejaia, ran aground off the coast of Gaziköy, Tekirdağ, on June 29, 2025. The tugs 'Kurtarma 9' (IMO: 9598581)'and 'Kurtarma 17' (IMO: 9942990) were called to assist and managed to refloat the bulk carrier nnder the coordination of the Çanakkale Ship Traffic Services Center. Escorted by the lifeboat 'Kiyem 4' (MMSI, 271042658)., the casualty was then safely towed to the Tekirdağ Anchorage Area and moored in pos. 40° 57' N 027° 32' E.
