Rescue operation for distressed refugees
The "Bourbon Arcadie" and the "Kehoe Tide", actually being used as supply and stand by vessels for the drilling rig "Zagreb 1" were involved in a rescue operation for 220 refuges on May 13, 2014. The boat had got in trouble and capsized in position 33-44 m N 012- 14 m E on the way to Lampadusa island in the Mediterranean Sea. In total 201 persons were rescued, and 14 persons died, an unknown number of people went missing.
