On its way from Constanta the Fiesta collided with the cargo m/v "Sandrella" (IMO: 7602699) after passing the Dardanelles Strait, 5 miles off Tavsan Island, in the Aegean Sea in pos 39 56.5 N 025 53.3 E, on Mar 28, 2010, at 2.40 p.m. Both vessels proceeded the Straiut southbound. The "Kıyı Emniyeti 6", "Kurtarma 2" and "Söndüren 4" were sent to the scene and pulled both ships to safety. The "Fiesta" was damaged at the stern, the "Sandrella" in the foreship region.
