LPG transfer suspended due to generator breakdown
The 'N Orhan', loaded with 3,000 tonnes of LPG, sufered a breakdown at the SSGC terminal in Port Qasim on July 23, 2023. The ship's generators malfunctioned. and the transfer of LPG from the vessel was suspended for at least 48 hours. The malfunction of the vessel blocked other vessels carrying LPG in the outer channel. As a result, the vessel remained stuck in port, and gas could neither be pumped from the vessel nor evacuated from the terminal. The 'N Orhan' finally sailed from Port on July 27at about 6 a.m. UTC.
