Tanker disabled in Sognefjord
The 'Hordafor 7', en route from Hyllestad-Leirvik with seven crew members on board, suffered an engine failure in the Sognefjord on Dec 17, 2024, an 2.10 p.m.and drifted in the fjord. The emergency rescue center (HRS) mobilized several resources, including a helicopter, ambulance boat and a lifeboat. At 3.30 p.m. the ship was towed back to Koren by the 'Skandi Jupiter' (IMO: 9418042).
