Crew member died after fall into cargo hold
A crew member onthe "Hony Future" died after falling into its cargo hold amid rough seas when the vessel was near Vietnam’s coast on Feb 29, 2016 around 2 a.m. The "Hony Future" was some 150 nautical miles from Vung Tau Town on its way from Iran to Caofeidian. Rough seas and strong winds caused two crewmen, Ding Guandong and Yu Jiannan, to fall into the cargo hold. Yu Jiannan died soon later while Ding Guandong suffered serious injuries. The latter was rushed to Vung Tau for emergency care.
