In the morning of March 17, 2026, the Port Authority of Sami Kefalonia was informed by the Captain of the 'Andreas Kalvos' abount an electrical failure, which was detected before the departure on the scheduled route from the port of Sami to the port of Patras. The ship was carrying 123 passengers, 37 vehicles, two buses and two tank trucks, who were forwarded to their destination with the company's care. The 2nd Port Department of Sami of the Port Authority of Kefalonia initially banned the ship from sailing, while after the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance from the monitoring classification society, the ship was permitted to resume sailing.

The 'Andreas Kalvos', serving the route Patras, Sami, Ithaca, Sami, with 157 passengers and 33 crew members. and loaded with 32 cars, three trucks and three buses, allided with the quay, en route from Patras, in the port of Sami in Kefalonia during the mooring process on Nov 17, 2024. The ship was damaged at the starboard side stern. The passengers disembarked safely. No injuries were reported, and no marine pollution was observed. The 36 passengers destined for Ithaca wee forwarded to their destination by the care of the owner company.

The Port Authority of Patras was informed in the morning of Nov 8, 2022, by the Master of the 'Andreas Kalvos' that a 37-year-old man was injured, while the ship was sailing from the port of Sami, Kefallinia, to the port of Patras. He was immediately given first aid by the ship's crew and by a private doctor on board. When the ship docked in the port of Patras, he was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Patras for further care. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Patras.

The Port Authority of Patras was informed in the morning of May 3 by the 'Andreas Kalvos'. that during the process of shifting the ship, without passengers and vehicles on board, from berth No. 5 to berth No. 4 of the northern port of Patras, there was a mechanical failure on the starboard side main engine. The departure of the ferry was prohibited by the Port Authority. After an inspection and presentation of a certificate of class maintenance by the classification society that monitors it, its departure was allowed to serve the approved route for Sami Kefalokis with 53 passengers on board.
