Coaster aground off Delfzijl
Coming from Ooulu on Nov 5, 2014, the "Leonie" ran aground just outside the port of Delfzijl. The tugs "Waterpoort", "Waterman" and "Waterstroom" went on standby to start pulling off the ship with the high tide around 10.30 p.m. The vessel was successfully refloated and berthed at the merchant ship quay at 11.15 p.m. The ship shifted from the merchant quay in Delfzijl to the local Shipyard Royal Niestern Sander on Nov 6 at 6.30 p.m. and was docked around 8 p.m.
