Engine trouble fixed soon
On Sep 17, 2014, the "Vossdiep" suffered engine trouble in the Kiel Canal while enroute from Baltiysk to Nes Moudania. The ship had already interrupted its voyage in Kiel on Sep 14 at 9 a.m., two days after its departure, to undergo repairs in the Scheer Port. On Sep 17 at 5.45 p.m. it resumed its voyage, but while transiting the Kiel Canal westbound, it had to moor at the pilings at the South side of the fairway in Rade two hours later due to a broken hose. During the night, the trouble could be fixed, and on Sep 18 short past 4 a.m. the vessel entered the locks in Brunsbüttel and is meanwhile underway in the Northsea with an ETA of Sep 29.
