Medevac off Tynemouth
An injured crew member of the "City of Paris" had to be evacuated from his ship off the coast of Tynemouth in the night of Sep 3, 2016, after he impaled his finger on a fish hook. The master of the vehicle carrier radioed Humber Coastguard at 7:30 p.m. The severity of the 35-year-old crewman's injuries meant he had to be evacuated and treated at hospital.
