The Seacon Fukuoka' was detained in Shanghai on Dec 1, 2025, whjere it had arrived en route from Kagoshima on Nov 29. during an Port State Control inspection under the Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding. During the inspection, seven deficiencies were found, five of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The ship remained stationary in port as of Dec 4.
