After, in the morning of Oct 29, 2010, the bulkcarrier "Indiana Harbor" got stuck in the channel between Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan, its sister ship "H. Lee White", which also was scheduled to come into Muskegon that day, would lighter some of the coal cargo from the "Indiana Harbor" allowing it to pass a shoal built up by the impact of wind and waves off Muskegon.
