FSB asserts to have found traces of explosives on board

Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) asserted on July 27, 2023, it had found traces of explosives on board the 'BMO River', en route from Sinop to Rostov-on-Doin, that had previously entered a Ukrainian port. In its website, the FSB said that the vessel had been ordered to leave Russian waters. The FSB said the ship had entered the Ukrainian port of Reni twice in June and July. The FSB said on July 24 that it had found traces of explosives on another ship traveling from Türkiye to Rostov-on-Don. Russia had pulled out of the Black Sea grain deal, which had allowed Ukraine to ship food from its southern ports despite the war. It said it would consider all ships traveling to Ukraine as potentially transporting military cargo.

The 'Andre-Michel 1', which had allided with a canal bridge over the Mondragon-Donzère Canal, Rhone, in the evening of Oct 2, 2021, killing its pilot and losing the wheelhouse, was taken in tow in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhone by the tug 'Sea Lord' (IMO: 8325119) to Tuzla for repairs on Feb 16, 2022, with an ETA as of Feb 24. Engine failure in Bosphorus

The "Andre Michel 1" suffered engine failure in the morning of June 5, 2017, shortly after passing the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in the northern Bosphorus, and went adrift. The ship was en route from Kherson to Sfax when the engine broke down. It was taken int tow and safely pulled to Buyukdere Anchorage with the help of the tug "Kurtarma 3" where it was still remaining moored off Çayırbaşı on June 6.
