Tanker disabled in Dardanelles
On the early morning of May 20, 2024, the 'Histria Atlas' suffered an engine malfunction in the Dardanelles while enroute from Burgas to Alexandria, Egypt. Under the coordination of the Çanakkale VTS Center, the vessel was safely moored at the Bozcaada Anchorage, assisted by a pilot and under the tow of the tug 'Kurtarma 14'.
