On Jan 9, 2025, the 'Joe I' was detained in Canakkale with 14 deficiencies, four of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Structural conditions - Steering gear Damaged 2) Structural conditions' - Ballast, fuel and other tanks Not as required 3) Living and working - Gas instruments Not as required 4) Fire safety - Fire dampers Not as required The vessel was released again on Jan 10 and sailed en route to the ports of Sulina and Braila.
