Navios Acquisition announces delivery and employment of one VLCC
Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation ("Navios Acquisition"), an owner and operator of tanker vessels, has taken delivery of the Nave Neutrino, a 2003-built VLCC of 298,287 dwt, the Company said in a press release. The Company also announced that the Nave Neutrino has been chartered out to a quality counterparty for six months at a rate based on an adjusted BITR TD3 index with an option for an additional six months period. Following the delivery of the Nave Neutrino, Navios Acquisition has 37 vessels in the water as follows: 23 product tankers, four chemical tankers and ten VLCCs.
