In the morning of Nov 20, 2010, the "Graceful Madonna" radioed the vessel was being chased by a skiff approximately 750 nautical miles northeast of Port Victoria (Seychelles). After 30 minutes and a number of small arms fire at the vessel, the pirates aborted their attack, disrupted by the vessel's self-protection measures.
