Cargo ship adrift off Punta Carnero
The "Langeoog", enroute from Gibraltar, where she had sailed only at 10.30 a.m., to Fenit, ETA Mar 6, was disabled and adrift on Mar 2, 2017, about 2,4 miles Southeast of Punta Carnero. The pollution control vessel "Luz de Mar" was called to assist and took the casualty in tow. It was towed into the port of Algeciras and dropped anchor on the ports roads around midday.
