Two ships left Yuzniy port in the morning Sep 1, 2023, breaking through Russian blockade, in a joint run, the 'Ocean Courtesy' with 172,000 tons of iron ore concentrate, destined to Constanta, and the Liberian bulk carrier 'Anna Theresa' with 56,000 tons of pig iron, destined to Varna. They kept close to each other until around 5 a.m. UTC, when the ' Ocean Courtesy' suddenly stopped. She resumed sailing at around 2.20 p.m. UTC, slowly gathering way. The second ship didn’t wait and sailed on.
