Heroysund

The 'Herøysund', serving on the route Stokkvågen - Onøy - Sleneset, suffered problems with the thruster on Dec 8, 2025, and had to proceed to Stokkvågen for troubleshooting. All sailings until the morning of Dec 9 had to be canceled, and the ferry 'Sigrid' (IMO: 9030369) was planned to over the service from Stokkvågen at 08.05 a.m. However, the 'Sigrid' suffered an electrical fault, which was causing problems with the bow gates. Aan electrician is on the way, but until further notice, the A and B routes were suspended on Dec 9.

The "Herøysund" suffered technical problems on June 1, 2018, which were expected to take a few hours to get fixed. The operator Boreal located the problem, but the ferry had to be pulled out of the service on the route Søvik - Austbø - Herøy - Brasøy for the time being and was sidelined at 10 a.m. for repairs.

The "Herøysund" had to be sidelined on Jan 3, 2014, due to a Problem with the computer that controls the main engine and which was not working properly. The engine manufacturer was called to resolve the problem and the ferry be put back into operation as soon as the repair was carried out. The trouble began when the Crew tried to start the engine in the morning. As the second ferry which is to serve the Søvik - Austbø - Flostad - Herøy - Brasøy route, the "Tenna" was not delivered from the yard yet, the "Alsten" actually remained the only ship.
