Superyacht suffered engine trouble
The 'Lady S' had to make a stopover at Carrick Roads off Falmouth on Oct 9, 2025, due to a technical problem that slowed down the speed of the vessel to 1,5 knots, while cruising off the French coast en route from A Coruña, where it had departed on Oct 6. The cause was believed to be mechanical engine failure. A helicopter landed on the helipad several times and took off again. An engineer from the Netherlands, where the yacht was built, may have been flown in to inspect the engine. As of Oct 16, the yacht remained moored in pos. 50° 10' N 005° 04' W and was next destined to Truro, once the damage has been fixed.
