The 'New Horizon' was in callision with the moored cargo m/v 'Lady Nurgul' at Ahirkapi Anchorage in the Marmara Sea on Oct16, 2022, at around 1.45 p.m. The bulk carrier was under way, leaving the anchorage bound for the Ukraine to load grain, but dropped anchor after the accident. The 'Lady Nurgul' remained at anchor.
